Villa vignotti

Welcome to Villa Vignotti! Our lovely house on the highest point of the Alta Langhe and our personal dream come true! If you like to get away from tourism and busy life and enjoy organic grown food, drinking great wines and practicing some Yoga: you are very welcome to share it with us.

The Villa is close to the famous Barolo and Barbaresco wine area and one hour away from the beach and nearest ski-resorts. You’ll love the house for its comfortable and modern interior and its great view over the Alps! In addition you find an outdoor, heated, saltwater pool on the site that can be used From April till October.

Food plays an important role in Italy. If desired, we prepare fresh goodies for breakfast and cook with the fruits and vegetables from our garden. Do not hesitate to ask us for good wine addresses and definitely enjoy some wine tasting while you are here. To clear your mind you are free to join the our yoga sessions in our hillside studio!

The house has five bedrooms, each with separate bathrooms. There is a family kitchen that is fully equipped for those who like to cook. For games and music: find your way tot the leisure room, or suit yourself in the living room to read your book by the fire. Massage treatments are offered on request in the separate massage room. Outdoor at last, you find a pool with view over the Alps and great possibilities for hiking and biking on the surrounding land.

Good to know: during your stay the house is entirely yours but we are always around to help you shape the perfect holiday in this unexplored part of Italy! We love to take you to wine tastings at small wine farmers, give and organize cooking workshops and show you other treats of the beautiful Alta Langhe!

The best way of travelling to Villa Vignotti is by flying to Turin, Genoa, Milan or Nice and by renting a car. Car rental in Italy is relatively cheap and well organized.

We (large group of 12) spent a long weekend at Ronald and Lotje’s beautiful “VillaVignotti” after traveling through France and Italy. Upon arrival we were simply blown away by the villa itself and it’s amazing interior: The rustic stone house made us and our friends feel at home the instant we arrived! All the exceptional pictures and art, the huge beds comfortable furniture – all in all we kind of regret not having booked the villa for a week - or even longer! It’s easy to chillax to the max, hanging out at the pool with fabulous views over green hills and spectacular sunsets, or sitting in the shade in the yard of the house. Gathering around the huge kitchen table and being both educated by Ronald during a wonderful wine tasting as well as being spoilt by Lotje’s delicious snacks to accompany the different regional wines made our time in the “Villa Vignotti” truly feel like a slice of heaven. We also really need to mention, that guests who enjoy cooking will find not only a seriously spacious kitchen, but just about everything (i.e. any tool or kitchen object) one could desire when processing food in any way. It being the end of the season, we were even granted access to Ronald and Lotje’s veggie garden below and feeling rather humble, we harvested ripe and tasty veggies to feed the crowd. F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C. We are sorry, but there is absolutely nothing negative we can say ! That lavender smell lingers in our noses and will for sure be back again!
